Alright, so I come home from a day of mind-numbing work to find I have an email reply from Spike Spencer??? (a voice actor that I really like).  I had asked him about some advice for putting together a portfolio for voice.  I have my regular resume and stuff, but for VA its a bit different.

Anyhow, he gave me some kind words, and advised me to get a copy of Yuri Lowenthal’s book.  He then added “tell em Spike sent ya! :)”

Now, Mr. Spencer didn’t unravel the mysteries of being a voice actor and all that, BUT he replied and was very kind, which is more than I expected honestly!  (Not that I expected him to be mean, just busy).

So yeah.  Im probably gonna pick up that book.  But getting a return email from an actor I respect immensely really made my night.
